Both teams have their main ‘keepers out (though Gomez has a much better chance of being fit, Given’s injury is nowhere near as bad as first thought) and both teams are in form.
City have home advantage and Spurs have a good record at the COMS.
The main difference for me is Adam Johnson.
This lad is one to watch and is growing with confidence every match.
FQ: Champions League qualification would attract a higher class of player to City, Europa League, not so much. The owners are ambitious and relentless in their pursuit of success. If something isn;t working they won’t just “throw money at it” like some people presume, they make decisions, change things, organise and plan for how to change the situation.
They managed to turn a patch of desert into a earthly paradise within 30 years. Imagine what they can do (and have done so far) to a football club Manchester City?
2006 City finished 15th. 2010 City could finish 4th.
The possibilities are endless. And i for one am loving how everyone else seems to be foaming at the mouth at the unstoppable (Though they’ve tried) juggernaut that is MCFC backed by the Sheikh.
